What we are here to do: Our mottos; " We save lives, what do you do?
We are here to do the job no one likes to do...fight fire and save lives. We are a small based rural fire dept that covers about 52 miles of road in our town. We have 2 stations but currently only run out of the main one. We dont have a huge budget like some of these other departments. We currently have around 25-30 members. Very few trained interior firefighters...we are still working on the training of the newer members to get them ready for class. We have a good crew that works together and work good with the chief. We work well with other depts for mutual aid. We recently have acquired gear from another dept up in northern part of New York. They're donations and help have been very greatly appreciated to help us come the long way from behind in technology and the lack of funds. Thanks to the Penfield area depts!!!!
